Zia Ali | Head Goalkeeper Coach | Game On Arena Sports

Zia Ali brings elite playing experience and nearly two decades of coaching expertise to Game On Arena Sports as Head Goalkeeper Coach. A former standout at Northwood University (2003–2005), Zia went on to compete at the professional level in the MLS Reserve League with LA Galaxy, Columbus Crew, and FC Dallas. He also gained international experience with Vitesse Arnhem Reserve (Netherlands) and was selected to the USSF Adult U-23 National Pool in 2008.

His playing career includes semi-professional stops with Arlington Magic, DFW Tornadoes, and Fort Worth Vaqueros.Zia’s coaching background includes serving as Goalkeeper Coach for FC Dallas South, Northwood University, and most recently at Game On (2022–present). In addition, he has worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach since 2008, giving him a unique edge in developing technically sharp, physically prepared, and mentally strong goalkeepers.

Zia’s philosophy focuses on building confident, commanding goalkeepers who control their box and compete at the highest level.
